Q.  How can I connect component video (red, green, blue) source to FO2800/FO2850?
A.  Connecting a component video source requires component video to HDMI/DVI converter.

Q.  How do I connect a video source with DVI connector to FO2800/FO2850?
A.  Use a DVI>HDMI cable or adapter.  Note that DVI does not carry audio.

Q.  Where does the FO2800/FO2850 TX and RX go?
A.  TX is the transmitter and goes with your audio/video source.  RX is the receiver and goes with the HDTV, monitor, or projector.  

Q.  How do I setup the multi-room application using the multiple FO2800/FO2850s?
A.  Please refer to the multi-room connection diagram on the quick start guide.  you need to purchase an HDMI switch with multiple inputs and multiple outputs.  We recommend a matrix switcher for the most flexibility.  

Q.  The distance between my source device and HDTV is longer than 30 meters.  What can I do?
A.  FO2800/FO2850 can support distances up to 400 meters.  Multiple fiber cable length options are available.

Q.  How do I control multiple source devices using IR (infrared)?
A.  FO2800/FO2850 is compatible with Xantech IR connection blocks.  The IR connection blocks support multiple emitters.  Connect the IR output of FO2800/FO2850 TX to IR receiver input of the IR connection block using a 3 pin 3.5mm stereo mini jack cable, then plug as many emitters as you need for your system.  OWLink recommends Xantech emitters (282M, 286M).

Q.  How do I attach the FO2800/FO2850's fiber cable to my wall?
A.  We recommend running the fiber cable along the floor board or along corners of the ceiling to properly hide the transparent cable.  Use an Adhesive (glue, tape, etc.) to stick the fiber cable to wall/ceiling.

Q.  Can I paint over the fiber cable?
A.  Yes, you can paint over the fiber cable to match your decor.  All signals travel inside the able and will not be affected.

Q.  Are there any precautions to handling the fiber cable?
A.  The fiber cable is not easy to break, however please handle with care.  Try not to pinch the fiber cable past 120d degrees, or install in areas where it can be stepped on.

Q.  Can fiber cable be installed in a harsh environment?
A.  In the event that the cable needs to be installed in harsh environment, there are multiple fiber cable options available, like thicker fiber or Kevlar wrapped cables.

Q.  Can I run the fiber cable through my walls?
A.  Yes, all fiber cable types can be pulled through walls.  Take precaution to ensure the fiber cable is not cut by nail or other sharp objects inside the wall. 

Q.  What does the FO2850 USB connection support?
A.  AT this time, FO2850's USB connection only supports USB keyboard, USB mouse, or combo keyboard/mouse

Q.  My wireless USB device is not working with FO2850, what can I do?
A.  Make sure the wireless USB device drivers are properly installed on your PC.  Test that the wireless USB device works when plugged directly into the PC.  If it works directly connected, then try resetting power to FO2850 TX and RX (pull/plug the power plug).

Q.  How do I connect my stereo audio to FO2850?
A.  If your audio source has RCA type (red/white) connectors, you need to use a RCA to 3.5mm stereo cable.  If your source has a 3.5mm stereo connector (such as a PC sound card or iPod), then connect to FO2850 TX (audio in) using a 3.5mm stereo male/male cable.

Q.  What is the maximum frame rate supported by FO2800/FO2850?
A.  Currently, both support up to 1080p @ 24/30 fps HDTV resolutions, and up to 1366x768 @ 60Hz PC resolutions.  Please make sure your source device is outputting a supported resolution and frame rates.

Q.  I can't see the video image, and both status LEDs on FO2800/FO2850 are solid.  What is it not working when the lights are solid?
A.  Most likely the video resolution on the source device is set at a level that is higher than supported by FO2800/FO2850.  Please check the resolution and frame rate, and make sure the HDTV is set to the right input.

Q.  Does FO2800/FO2850 support HDCP?
A.  Yes.
