DVICO introduces a radically different type of Network Media Player, the R-3310 is an ATSC Receiver for local over-the-air network broadcasts that functions as a DVR with installation of an optional hard drive with time-shifting and live pause features.  The R3310 DVR Network Media Player can tune and record your shows with the ability to schedule one time or recurring broadcasts of your favorite show. 

While the TViX R3310 makes an ideal DVD Jukebox for use with video files, it also plays music and serves photo slideshow, a real multimedia device.  The TVIX plays a wide range of digital files like HDTV Transport Streams and other MPEG-2 formats like DVD backups in ISO and IFO, and output both high-definition 720p/1080i and standard definition 480i. 

The TViX R3310 offers several video output connections like HDMI, Component, S-Video, and Composite, so you can hook it up to any type of TV and portable so you can take your entertainment on the road.  External standard definition video input allows for analog recording that is converted to MPEG-2 on the installed hard drive, perfect for converting your personal video files to digital format.

Whether you store your files on USB device, on a PC, or on a Network Attached Storage (NAS), the TViX can access wide range of video files that you can manage via USB or the TVIX ftp. Attach the TViX to your PC via USB for faster file management.

Important note: February 2009 is the end of TV broadcasting as we have known it.  NTSC analog television broadcasts will cease on February 17, 2009 as the US transitions to new digital ATSC format is completed.  The change will affect all viewers of over-the-air free broadcasts received with an antenna on an analog (non-HD) TV that do not have a MPEG-2 decoder.  On that date, a receiver/tuner converter that can display on analog TVs will be necessary to continue receiving local broadcasts to standard definition NTSC TVs.
