Key
Digital's KD-BBTX HDMI/DVI and Analog/Digital Audio Transmitter features a
single CAT5/6/7 cable installation with both digital video and
analog/digital audio. The balun transmits signals for distances of
up to 150ft. for 1080p and 300 ft. for 1080p24/1080i/720p. The KD-BBTX
was designed to work with Key Digital's Switches, Distribution
Amplifiers, and Matrix Switch.
Important Note: The
current firmware of various Satellite providers has an EDID
interpretation bug that is prone to errors during 3D content playback
via CAT5 baluns. To isolate this issue we recommend use any of Key
Digital HDMI Distribution Amplifiers, KD-HDDA series, or Key Digital
HDMI Switcher, KD-HDSW series, between Set Top Box and KD-CATHD HDMI
balun. The Distribution Amplifier or Switcher must be set to the 3D
default EDID.
