Data Express

is affordable, and yet the limitations in today's computers make it difficult to add
additional hard drives to your ATAPI system. Audio and Video professionals have used
Storcase's removable drive bay and carrier system to store their massive files.

The removable bay system allows for extensive library of data. Although IDE systems
are not "hot-swappable", using multiple same size drives allows use without a
re-boot when used in conjunction with a permanent hard disk.
The Data
Express® DE75 is a steel constructed drive carrier and receiving frame for
internally mounting a low-profile (up to 1 inch high), 3.5 inch form factor SCSI or IDE
drive into any standard or undersized half-height, 5.25 inch peripheral bay. The Data
Express also feature a front-accessible key lock which secures the carrier within the
receiving frame.
The DE75 series carriers are also available in models
which support SCSI Wide Ultra160, Wide Ultra2, Wide Ultra, Narrow, and IDE (including
ATA/100) and also supports 80-pin single-connect (SCA) SCSI type drives. Some models are
also available with a unique cable-less 68-pin connector.
