PowerDVD enables various features in the M-Audio Delta
series sound cards that are not available in other software DVD players, such as support
for 24/96 DAD audio or DD/DTS 6-channel decode. Following is a list of supported
audio formats and applicable versions.
Open PowerDVD and stop any discs that may try to play from
the DVD-ROM drive. Right click on the PowerDVD screen, and choose
"Configuration". Click the "Audio" tab.
Audio Formats:
DVD-Video - Dolby Digital and DTS DVD pass-through,
set to S/PDIF output. V3.0 and XP 4.0
24/96 Audio CD - 2-channel 24/96 playback, set to WaveOut V3.0
DVD-Audio DD5.1 - Pass-through via S/PDIF and Toslink 48kHz, set to
S/PDIF out. V3.0 and XP 4.0
DVD-Audio 6-Channel DD/DTS Decode - For Delta 410 8-channel analog
48kHz, set to 6 Speakers out/Dolby Digital or DTS decode.
Dolby ProLogic II 6-Channel Decode -
For Delta 410 8-channel analog, set to 6 Speakers out and choose ProLogic for Movies or
Music.
