M-Audio CD Playback without internal audio cables

Enabling CD-Playback

The internal audio connectors often found in PC sound cards are not present on the Delta series pro sound cards.  It is not required for CD-Playback if software supporting Digital Audio Extraction is used together with the M-Audio Delta.

Windows 98/SE/ME : Digital Audio Extraction is currently supported in the software players listed below.  VXD drivers required for compatibility with DTS Audio CD and 24/96 DAD.

Windows 2000/XP (Delta 410 ME/XP) : Digital Audio Extraction is supported with most software players.  WDM is required for 6-channel Dolby Digital/DTS decoding.

Supported Software :

Sonic Foundry Siren XPress - CD/MP3/DTS CD-Audio (VXD only)
Windows Media Player - CD/MP3
Nullsoft WinAmp - CD/MP3
Cyberlink PowerDVD 3.0 - 24/96 DAD
Cyberlink PowerDVD XP 4.0 - Dolby Digital 5.1 multi-channel
