Network Dual HDTV tuner records ATSC/QAM

Silicondust's HDHomerun Dual HDTV Receiver/Tuner sports the most appropriate name.  Unlike cards installed in a PC, the HDHomerun connects to your home network.  The brilliant concept allows for compatible machines to connect to the tuners for watching Live HDTV or recording to hard disk.  Unlike most cards for PCs, the two tuners allow multiple users, and Microsoft's BDA drivers offers a wide range of third party user interfaces like MCE/Vista, SageTV, BeyondTV, VLC, and even MythTV (Linux) to control the tuners over LAN.  Tune and record two over-the-air TV and/or un-encrypted HDTV cable channels to your PC's hard drive over LAN.

Network connected HDHomerun is simple to install, and uses any hardware or programs capable of decoding transport streams to view.  Silicondust offers some of the best user support with an active community of users on-line.  HD Homerun is  the most flexible and sensible way to add HDTV to all the PCs in your network.

Winner of CES Innovations Award 2008.

Antenna recommendations and availability of HDTV in your city

**Un-encrypted cable signals in most markets are limited to the "must carry" channels as mandated by the FCC for cable providers and generally consist of over-the-air broadcasts such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and PBS.  Premium channels are encrypted and require a set-top-box or other tuners using Cable Card and cannot be viewed using HD Homerun.**
